VanFutch

We are the dynamic duo of John Futch and myself. Several years ago, we composed a piece, ABAB5C, that has become infamous for its uncomfortably piercing melodies and its unsettling, irregular rhythms. We decided these were all great things and should be repeated, thus VanFutch was born.

Since then, other pieces have been composed, one other of which has been recorded for posterity (Lap Crash a.k.a. Smells Like Trout). We've also recorded many freestyle sessions, sometimes including additional musicians.
